The Intellectual Property Committee has a signed agreement with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) on the use and promotion of IP Marketplace, designed by the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. The purpose of the agreement is to make it easier for institutions/companies in Iceland to market their intellectual property rights, as well as look for business opportunities and collaborative partners in matters relating to intellectual property rights.
IP Marketplace is an online marketplace for intellectual property rights on which it is possible to register patents, utility models, trademarks and design for sale or available for licensing agreements. It is also possible to use the marketplace to look for intellectual property rights to buy or for which to obtain a licence. IP Marketplace is free and open to all, whether parties are buying or selling.
IP Marketplace includes information on patents that the Intellectual Property Committee, on behalf of the University of Iceland and/or Landspítali University Hospital, is considering selling or providing a licence for. Click on the picture below to see further information on the patent.
